ABOUT THE COVER
This month’s cover was drawn by Derik A. Badman, digital services librarian at Temple University in Philadelphia. Taking on the theme of Philadelphia in honor of the location of the 2008 ALA Midwinter Meeting, Badman has used nine distinct Library of Congress call number sections as a structure for nine images. The call numbers are, for the most part, real and can be used to help identify the images (e.g., ND6853.D8 for Duchamp, the collection of his work in the Philadelphia Museum of Art is not to be missed).
