Grants
ALA and its member units offer a variety of grants that provide funding or material support for present or future activities.
Grants may be offered to support the planning and implementation of programs, to aid in the preparation of a dissertation or other publications, and to promote research in library and information science.
Grants are also given to support travel to conferences or other events that can broaden an individual's experience or education in librarianship.
Grants are administered by the ALA Awards Program, as well as ALA divisions, offices, and round tables.
