ACRL Best Practices in Marketing Academic and Research Libraries @ your library Award
Through funds provided by the ACRL Friends Fund Committee, an award will be made to the academic/research library that demonstrates a best practices marketing program through documentation that addresses the criteria for judging described herein. -
ACRL EBSCO Community College Learning Resources and Library Achievement Awards
These two annual awards recognize significant achievement in the areas of programs and leadership. -
ACRL Excellence in Academic Libraries Award
This ACRL award recognizes an outstanding community college, college, and university library each year. -
Gale Cengage Learning Financial Development Award
An annual award consisting of $2,500 and a 24k gold-framed citation presented to a library organization that exhibited meritorious achievement in carrying out a library financial development project to secure new funding resources for a public or academic library entity.Donated by Gale Cengage Learning. Deadline is December 1. -
LLAMA John Cotton Dana Library Public Relations Award
The John Cotton Dana Award, sponsored by H.W. Wilson, honors outstanding library public relations, whether a summer reading program, a year-long centennial celebration, fundraising for a new college library, an awareness campaign or an innovative partnership in the community. Winning entries from the most recent two years are available to borrow via interlibrary loan from the ALA Library. -
LLAMA Swap and Shop Best of Show Awards
The annual Best of Show Awards recognize the very best public relations materials produced by libraries in the past year.

Marshall Cavendish Excellence in Library Programming Award
An annual award consisting of $2,000 and a citation of achievement recognizes either a school or public library which demonstrates excellence in library programming by providing programs which have community impact and respond to community needs. Advocacy, partnerships and creativity of use of resources, regardless of the size of the library, will be taken into consideration. Donated by Marshall Cavendish Corporation. Deadline is December 1. -

Sara Jaffarian School Library Program Award for Exemplary Humanities Programming
The Sara Jaffarian School Library Program Award is an annual award to a school library that has conducted an exemplary program or program series in the humanities during the prior school year. It consists of (1) a $4,000 cash award; (2) a plaque; and (3) the promotion of the winner as a model program for other school libraries.
